Radio Stuck on cassette. Custom Autosound USA1
Hello everyone,
I was driving down the road the other to charge my battery with the radio on, and at some point I decided to put my foot to the floor. So the car did what she does best: pushing me deep in my seat.
Exept that during this accelleration the radio cut.
I was not able to figure what it was as I was driving but back home I've checked everything.
All the fuses were OK.
And I decided to check the Radio in itself:
It is stuck on cassette (tape Sorry I don't know the difference English is not my native language). I cannot find a way to put it back on BAND.
I can switch between play and reverse but that's it.
My radio is an Custom Autosound USA1
Did it already happen to somebody?
Do you have an idea?

Try rebooting the radio
The radio in my Saab occasionally stops producing sound. It turns on, you can change stations, seek, scan, switch to CD but no sound. When that happens I pull the radio fuses, turn the ignition on and push the power button (to drain off any capacitance charge stored up). Then I put the fuses back in and the sound comes back.

Yeah,
But for me the sound works fine.
The radio is connected to an amplifier in the back.
An auxiliary cable comes from the amp.
When I plug anything to the Aux cable it's Ok.
It's just that the Radio in itself is stuck on the Tape so I can't switch to listen to AM/FM if I want to.
Is anybody an expert of Custom Autosound?
