Thanks for the excellent pictures Neil

He is, but when those land shark razor sharp puppy teeth come out, OUCH, and you should see my hands.
They look like I punched a plate glass window.

Bullet and Charlie are on point! Great shop companions. Here's Tig at 3 months. He wasted no time getting behind the wheel.

I finally got the car out on it's new Viking double adjustables and Rival S tires. It felt good on the first shakedown.

I used a threaded/coilover style shock so that I can use the same shock when I upgrade to aftermarket control arms with semi-coilover springs.

Neal,
Just a few more questions for you... Regarding the Kirkey seats, are you happy with the comfort level? I love the vintage race look they provide but just wondering how comfortable they actually are. Also, what did you do for brackets /sliders? And finally how is the actual fit? Do they rub on the door? Any other feedback you can give on them would be greatly appreciated. I'm currently considering the Kirkeys or Corbeau Classic buckets.

Thanks again for documenting such as awesome build!

Sorry about the lack of updates. I've been busy playing with my new toy below. I find the Kirkey seats very comfortable. I would not hesitate to drive a couple of hours in them. They make several sizes for proper fit. Mine are a perfect fit between the console and door panel with no rubbing. I used C3 seat brackets from a company called Wedge. The seats are direct bolted to the brackets for max headroom. I'm 6'2" and I now have tons of room in the car. The only drawback is getting in and out of the car with the high side bolsters. If the door is not open completely (like in a garage), it's tough to clear the sidelpipes. My removeable steering wheel helps a bunch with this issue.

Thanks for the update and the pictures... I really want to pull the trigger on the Kirkeys, my only concern is safety, as in no headrest. I'll have to research that one a little more...

One more question Neil, what width did you choose on the Kirkey seats? Thanks!

It's either the 16 or 17. I'll have to check my paperwork.

Karts are a blast! I was at an autocross once where a guy brought a shifter kart out and they let him make a run. He made the pro cars look downright slow! Times weren't even close.
