Default Boss 338 18 inch wheels are installed..

Front 18 x 8 with 245/45/18 tires
Rear 18 x 9.5 with 275/40/18 tires

Here is the passenger side trailing arm. This side is sticking out about 1/2 inch more than the drivers side. I had to use a 1/4 inch spacer on the passenger side to prevent e-brake cable from touching the tire. All other 3 corners, I used the 3/8 inch hubcentric spacer. No signs of any damage to trailing arm.
I will still lower the car by installing a low arch spring.. Want to lower the rear by 3 to 4 inches..

Not sure why it displays reversed.. If you click on the link directly, it shows the correct orientation.

EDIT: After lowering the car...

8" and it's all the way on the bottom of the 8 inch.. Couldn't go with a 10 inch bolt as the spring would touch the wheel if I lowered it any more.. Ordered a 360 lbs/inch low arch composite spring.. Will sell the one I have right now.

Looks great and will be even better with the rear dropped.

That's going to look nice. The white with blue stripe gives it a fresh, clean but vintage look, especially with those wheels.

totally unrelated but you appear to be missing the large cotter pin that prevents the alignment shims from falling out.

The low arch spring is special order, so it will take a few days to arrive..

The way that they shimmed the Trailing Arms is different from any Vette that I had.. I have to post a pic of it.. maybe when I'll install the new spring.

I ordered my spring from VB&P and it was 1/2 short when I installed my 338's No rubbing and I relocated the e brake bracket.

I ended up going with C4 factory 9" bolts.. Looks good to me now.. Much better than the 4 x 4 look with the TRW spring..

Did you manage to keep the same wheel centerline?? looks in the pix like you do not have any flares on the fenders.....my car does and my 17x9.5 from '89 vette just barely inside the flares....

Roads around here are rough as a cob, speed bumps everywhere, rumble strips getting in/out of my burb.....so wonder about the ride with an even thinner tire.....

car does look GRAND though.....

Here is the exact setup: front: 18 x 8 with 4.5 inch backspacing. I use a 3/8 inch hubcentric spacer on the front wheels, bringing it to within 1/8 inch of factory backspacing. In the rear, I use 5 inch backspacing with 1/4 inch spacer and hubcentric ring on passanger side and 3/8 inch hubcentric spacer on the drivers side. Wheels do not sick out... maybe 1/4 inch or so on passenger side.

Here are pics after lowering the car..

Nice job with the stance and tire/wheel placement in the wheel wells.
