Guess you missed where i posted this way back....and as far as headlight covers ( clear ) messing up light...well, lots of cars have them from the factory.

BUT they are not flat and at such an incline as the C3 requires which is why I went another route....
when a Verizon truck took out the left front of my bumper with his hitch by backing into me....that was the end of the old tall Ecklers sugar scoop trays in the OEM configuration, I reduced the openings by about 50% fore/aft, and modified the mounting with GOOD glue and some careful measuring and stainless screws and brought the mounting forward about 1/2 way, using later Camaro lights and mounts....and using junkyard parts and 1x2 PVC from Home Despot.....so not knowing IF my measurements were purrfect on the fabrication, I installed both right and left mounts, none are fixed the top is adjustable for elevation....AND SO the openings look much better than stock, no plastic/glass to diffuse the light....
Yeah, it's not quite done yet. Still have to wet sand, polish the wheels, and a few other odds and ends.
Stop the presses you misunderstood me...I think your car looks stunning, I was trying to express that the recessed headlights without the covers look unfinished...not your car....
They look better on the chrome bumber C3's but may look good enough on yours also. I think the trick is to paint them down to the lamp position. Also HID lights put out more light but need a starter and starter circuit also - fairly expensive.
