Looking for a new muffler
That's what I have too, they came with a 2 1/2 Inch System from Corvette Central

Actually like 2 chamber Flowmaster sound for less than 600 HP stuff. I've got a buddy with 2.5" Flows on a nice little 388" and it's one of the best sounding motors I know.
I ran them on my 427 for years too and they were fine.
I hated the Dynomax Race Bullets...just loud glass packs.
The Race Pro's are nice.....no restriction at WOT and sound good cruising. The Violators are louder I believe.
Understand that cam and compression make as much difference as anything.

I just bought a pair of 2.5" Super 44 Chokemasters for the 358" we just built for my dad's 70' SS Nova
.... For 400hp or less, I'm sure they are sufficient enough, and always sound damn good with they have full length tail pipes on em.--- Not saying I couldn't gain 2-3HP with a Pypes or Magnaflow straight thru but.... That Flowmaster sound.....

Now they are making the OLD SCHOOL 40 series, 2 chamber Flowmasters again with only a single deflector(circa 1991).... Those suckers sound killer but are pretty damn loud... If I was looking for a GOOD, LOUD sound, I'd go with those.
