Looking to put a nice set of headers on my 70 LT-1 car. 4 speed, manual steering, non power brakes, straight plug heads. What are you running on your C3? thanks

I am running an ancient pair of Hedmans that I had recoated.....
They fit so well that I was afraid to put anything else on....they had nice thick flanges and a good seal ring at the port.
New were $450.....I had mine stripped and coated professionally for $300.
It may make you source a used set......of course I got mine with the car.....but food for thought. I am not a person that tosses stuff in lieu of new unless necessary.

I,ve been using the Hooker Competition Dark Side black ceramic coated headers. They fit great and are a quick install from the bottom of the car. The ceramic coating keeps the under hood temperatures cooler and it doesn't flake off like paint eventually does.

I installed a pair of Hooker Super Comp side mount headers on my '77 and they fit perfectly. I didn't have to dent any of the tubes - just snaked them up from the bottom while the car was on regular jack stands. I have clearance for Accel ceramic spark plug boots.

Hooker Super Comps (PN 2134 long tube) worked for me on both my '78 and also my '65.

Really nice ones would be American Racing Headers stainless ones, they won't rust and you won't have to worry about keeping them painted. Stainless Works also has a nice set, either of those are a little more than double the price of Super Comps.
