Default Who Has Borgeson + Offset A-arm Shafts?

Borgeson recommends some different front end alignment specs after the install. I'm wondering how many of you HAD to put the offset A-arm shafts on after the Borgeson install to achieve the recommended specs?

How are those arms working out Sacred? Pros and cons? I just ordered a set from Summit.

I like them. I got the extra caster I was looking for. I really like global west products. They are well built and look good. I also got the extended travel lower control arms for coilovers but the shocks and springs are on back order so they are not on yet. Also have their rear trailing arms.

What size wheels and tires are you running in the rear with those offset control arms? I just purchased a set and haven't got them installed yet. I was hoping to get a 10" wheel on but I don't know what backspace to use. Thanks for your input.

I've got the Speed Direct aluminum upper control arms - good for 6* pos. castor setting. Have mine set to 4.5* pos. castor and the steering is now exceptional. No more being pulled around by uneven pavement. On a good road she tracks in a straight line with my hands off the wheel.
Here's a couple of pics on how they fit:

Steering box close to header but no touch - can easily remove and replace header.

Colesweat, they are sidepipe headers. But the unfortunate thing is they were built for my '65 by a header guy here where I live. And yes they are built very well. With polished ceramic coating they cost me $1500.00 - not cheap but they are a perfect fit.

Custom built headers with ceramic coating

Sacred Steel, what coil overs are you going to use with the Global West arms. I was looking at those arms and they look great. Like the idea of the extended travel lower. Thanks,

Bill

The Global West part # is GWSV-6382. Its a Viking coilover shock with the spring and hardware. It doesn't come up on their website but I talked to Doug (the owner) and this is the set up that he recommended. there are other shock/spring options but he said this is the most popular set up due to the Viking being a good shock and a little more affordable.
The control arm # is CTA-31EXT.

Thanks for the numbers. Did you buy direct from Global West or from Jegs or another vendor? That Global West stuff looks so strong, but you are the first here I have seen using their stuff.

I bought this particular set up directly from global west because I don't think summit carries them yet. I generally buy from summit for the free shipping but had no choice on this one. Their stuff looks nice on the website but once you hold one in your hand, you can see and feel how well built they are.

I purchased some Global West upper control arms from Summit this week. They had them in stock. The prices were the same as on the Global West website.
