'82 CE with 700R4 Transmission. Is there a trick to removing the plastic driven gear housing without breaking it. I can get it to swivel a few degrees but it will not pull out. I really don't want to try and pry on 34 year old plastic. I break enough stuff during my normal work routine and none of the Threads I have read address this except for the guy that broke his...Thanks for any advice.

Never mind, I got it. I reattached the speedocable and that gave me move leverage to jiggle it loose. Should have done that before posting but maybe this will help somebody else. Have a good one...
