Air vents not right
On my '76, I just installed a C4 blower motor with a spacer. When I turn the fan on full speed, I barely get air out of the vents. In fact, I get more air coming out of the heater box near the core tubes than inside the cabin. I rebuilt the climate control switch a few years ago, and when I move the wheel to cold, it blows cold. When I move it to hot, it blows hot, so I know that's functioning right. When I move the other wheel on the left to AC, I can hear the compressor kick on and off, so I think that's right. What about these doors in the vents themselves? How do I check if they're working properly? I have a funny feeling that an inner door isn't opening up all the way, thus blocking flow out of the vents. Any knowledge will help. Thanks

My guess is that you need to double check the vacuum hose routing to the actuator doors.
If you had the system apart it is real easy to swap lines.
Do you have a Service Manual?
