The best comparison I could make regarding my stock L48 4spd with Hooker side headers, side pipes and glass pack baffles is my car sounds similar to a 5.0 Mustang with a nice exhaust on it. You can definitely hear it if you want to but you have the option to roll in to the neighborhood "stealth" if you lay off the gas.
