Hello to all. New member here. I have a 74 L-82 4sp which was fine last fall when I put her away for the winter. When I fired her up this year I have a very loud squeal noise when I turn the steering either way from center. It is not a belt noise... sounds more severe than that. Where should I start?

Sounds like your pump bearing may be gone but check the fluid first

If not low fluid, or loose belt....

Try flushing the system and add fresh fluid. Then report back for more help....
