Bright Idea - LED Corvette Lights

Why switch to LED's? You already know they are energy efficient and eco-friendly. But LED's are also a great way to set your Corvette apart from the crowd and increase safety as you drive. LED lights are brighter, appear quicker and burn cooler than your Corvette's factory light bulbs.
Most LED lights require no modification for installation and you can return your Corvette back to it's factory original appearance at any time.
Zip's inventory includes something for each Corvette generation. From C1 Tail Lamps and Bulb Assemblies to C7 Fuel Rail Lighting Kits, we have the LED Corvette parts that you've been looking for!
I tried to fix it by using resistors, but wasn't 100% happy with where it left me. The bulbs I had originally purchased didn't 'agree' with the resistors, and the bulbs that worked with them worked poorly in the rear because of how they were configured. They were so dim that I got several "hey, you're brake lights are out" window shouts from fellow motorists.
Then...it happened. I was coming back from Cars and Coffee and I came 2 inches from being rear ended by a blue CRV with an EASY 40 MPH closing speed that didn't see me braking or turning. Obviously, he should have recognized my maneuver even if I had no taillights whatsoever (which I did...they just weren't as bright as they could have been), but it gave me the heebie jeebies about my light situation.
ZIP Corvette to the rescue!!! I got their 'electronic blinker' thingy that is timer based, not load based. So I get a good, solid blink without any resistors and I've been able to swap to my "rear facing" replacement LED bulbs that didn't like the resistor configuration. Taillights are now considerably brighter than even the stock bulbs, but without any of the heat. Which the plastic light covers appreciate.
This configuration is a little different than what Joe is selling above, but yet another example of "whatever your Corvette issue, ZIP can help".

Got everything needed from these guy ^^. Great customer service.
Put these in the brake/tail lights:
Put these in the reversing (back-up) lights:
You will need to swap in this turn signal flasher:
(2-prong like original, direct swap)
Also note these recommendations are very specific -- they are the only legitimate LED retrofit bulbs. There's a mountain of garbage on the market, too, so use _only_ these specific LED bulbs.
Can be seen now!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Without the pics, all I can share is that the LED's are a slightly brighter, slightly 'faster' version of the stock bulb. Just without the electrical load. Or the heat...which had done a good job of melting my license plate light into a brown oddly shaped puddle of plastic over the past 46 years.

Sequential light module from Speedway motors-
Moved the reverse light....see below
More LED bulbs up front from Superbrite and another sequential module
LED -inside the stock side mirroes-
LED reverse lights-
And Richard, That's one heck of a Reverse Light! I'm sure that will get a few comments when you back into anywhere. Nicely done.

#1: The blinker thingy from Zips Corvette has a converter on it that makes it a plug-and-play deal for our cars. No thought, contemplation, or adjustment. Get behind the dash and swap it out. Done.
#2: As a continuation to my LED light bulb fetish, I just purchased the absolute brightest (800 lumen) RED bulb I could. Side by side with the white bulb, I have to say the difference is pretty dramatic. With the white bulb, the light is 'colored' by the now-46-year-old lenses that have inherent thin areas and other nuances. With a RED bulb, the taillight emits RED. Not 'red-ish' or 'red-through-46-year-old-lenses'. Just a VERY bright and glorious and ridiculously red light.
I think I'm finally happy with my taillights.
Now I just need to replace all my AMBER light positions with AMBER LED bulbs in lieu of white. Oh...can't forget the headlights. The fetish continues...
