cruise does not maintain constant speed
I had the fuse blow on the 8-track and the cruise stopped working. I replaced the radio with a hidden audio system and replaced the fuse of course. The next time i tried the cruise, i would engage it and the car would speed up and then it would release the acceleration to below the cruise speed and then race up past it again, and this kept on and on till i shut the cruise off. Anyone have any ideas?

If there is no vacuum leaks or binding, I would look at the transducer closer.
