Where to trim new carpet at the dash
I installed new carpets and am wondering where to trim at from most section of the floor where it meets the firewall. Does the carpet get tucked under the firewall mat, or go over it? The picture on page F28 of AIM (1970) shows some sort of rolled edge on the front of the carpet. Mine does not have that, and I'm not sure where to cut it. thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,
Typically the carpet overlaid the edge of the firewall blanket.
On occasion an original car is seen with it 'tucked under', but that's quite unusual.
