Manifold vacuum. Going from memory, think it's set around 12* BTDC at idle.

Car is in storage for the winter, no access until next spring. I'm just looking for ideas to consider, things to try next spring. I ordered a heat shield, inexpensive, easy to install, see whether it helps.

Don't think there's an ethanol free gas available in my area.

Stock delco & points, right?
I think the timing is 12* BTDC, going from memory. Haven't checked it lately. Stock points, condenser, rotor and cap, don't recall the brand, bought at NAPA.
