Date looks like 3/17/77 to me when enlarged.
Name might be Larry R***?
I've seen this before as identification when a part is sent out for service. Do you have any owner history for the car?

The owner before me (who passed away prior to me buying the car) bought the car in 82. Before that I have no idea. So unfortunately I know very little about it. Paper tags on both tach and speedo match build of car so I'm certain they are original.
