Autocrossers and Road Racers use Rake ?
My car goes in for Alignment tomorrow. I have been doing some last minute tuning tonight. I have adjusted the Spring Bolts so that I have 1/4" more Frame ground clearance in the rear than in front. Is that what You guys do to or do You do something different ?

I autocross my car. It's level. The suspension was designed to operate with the frame level.

You want the differential to be just slightly higher than the wheel hubs. The toe curve starts to go nuts as the differential squats below the horizontal centerline of the wheel hubs. Being over center allows some squat without getting into the whacky part of the toe curve.

Rake can also be used to help create downforce using the natural shapes of the body. This comes into effect more so at speed, not so much autocross, but can still be useful. I run 1" of rake on my C4 and about 3/4" of rake on my C3.

Did you drive the car around or push it back and forth before taking the measurements ? if not I suggest you do so
