What did everyone think of Dirks 77 corvette in the movie Boogie Nights? Does anyone know whatever happened to that car or who owns it now?

Just watched the movie for the first time and it appears to have a 1976 steering wheel. Also noticed it had a " low fuel " light pop on. What c3 had a low fuel light ?

Too funny!
Plus, the car was just about out of gas and they had to roll it to jump start it!
BTW: Based on the John Holmes story...
The guy they killed in real life was known as: Eddie Nash, big night club owner here in Los Angeles area.
Known as the "Wonderland Murders"

Well DUH its the movies... if the car just stopped running and he got out it would leave to wonder what had happened. When a low fuel light pops on it lets the audience know his *** had no money for fuel. So, being broke, down and out, the movie starts the cycle over and he ends up back at Jacks house same as the show started, broke and looking for work and a place to crash.

Watched 'Boogie Nights' and had to write about Dirk's C3
I watched 'Boogie Nights' again the other night and I got inspired to write about Dirk Diggler's Competition Orange 1977 C3: https://www.corvetteforum.com/articl...ghts-stingray/

I'm a huge fan of Boogie Nights since I first saw it I think back in 1998, I would love to find a "American Dream" poster but am having no luck
