I've been away for a while & just read this. I was afraid to use the Free TV link. I was just wondering if you achieved your goals & if you got to take it out? Congrats for getting it together!

I am still working on it but it starts, runs drives and stops. Zero traction with 295 50 15 tires. It will break them loose at 55 in 4th just kicking in the secondaries on the tripower.

NICE CAR! I get frowns from the purists too and mine is no where near as classic yours. The 63 SWC is my favorite. You did a great job Kevin and the modifications make it so much more fun to drive. Enjoy it and thanks for sharing.
BTW, if you have cable or satellite you can watch online

I just watched the episode, I think the car came out great!
I did think it was funny how they took the credit for the tri-power, yet I remember you posting about building that engine/tripower here on CF like 5 years ago...LOL
I was surprised the T56 went in with no mods needed for the tunnel...I never thought it would have fit.
They definitely did a lot of work in a short period of time, although I'm sure they worked on it longer then they let on.
I like the show and the projects they do.
And I like Heather.
Congrats on the car man, I bet you're driving the crap out of it after sitting for 10 years.

If you're on Direct TV, i just noticed it's coming on Velocity at 7:30pm as well as 10:30pm on 1/2 (Central time). So two chances to see it again :-)
I'm with everyone else in that it's very interesting in seeing the other side of the show. I still love it and wish they would expand their work into other areas of the country.
