You have got to give us the details after the show. Do the hosts actually do the wrenching or is it like those flip this house shows where the hosts come in and act like they are swinging hammers but it's all just for the camera. It just seem that the people on the show that are in front of the camera don't seem quite right to me.......like I wouldn't let them change the spark plug in my lawnmower. I'll DVR it and will enjoy looking at the progress on your car but I'm just a bit skeptical about the host on some of these shows. Now it the guy/gals that do the actual work are skilled then that is cool. I just don't dig actors that are portrayed as mechanics. I'd much rather watch a skilled mechanic that has no camera presence than some stupid actor pretending to know what they are doing.

Love the mods. I know the purist are crying for what you did to a '63 Split Window but that is what the Corvette experience is all about to me. Take an already beautiful car and make it into your own, one of a kind version. Well done. The Split Window is my favorite too. I've wanted one since I was 7 years old. I had a chance to buy one for $12,000 in 1983 and had the money and made the deal but when I went to pick it up (hadn't paid or anything yet) the guy had changed his mind. I did pick up my second favorite body style in 1999. My chrome bumper C3.
Now you have to tell me the answers to what I asked in my first post in this thread. I've got to know please.

I own a Sebring silver matching #'s 63 SWC. That car on Garage was an abortion. But I always give credit where credit is due. They did a nice job with what they started with. Just sad to see a SWC aborted. Only thing SW were the back 2 windows. Dan at Fantom works has that SWC hard top adapter that he custom made that you can put on a C2 convertible. It makes a rag top look like a SWC hard top. Great option. That doesn't hurt the history and it actually gives it a cool factor.
Interesting watch, happy for family who owned it. Just the rarest production Corvette, one down.
Each to his own.
