Default Need help with mystery ps pump

Any idea what style pump is on my 69? The casting is machined for a 1.25" OD shaft seal. The shaft diameter is 11/16" and is machined for a slip fit pulley with key and retaining nut. For what it's worth, the casting number is 5692885. I've purchased two o-ring/seal kits and both contained seals measuring 1-5/16" OD. Both kits were spec'd for a 69. One of the replacement seals is sized for my 11/16" shaft while the other is too large (both ID and OD). Otherwise, the O-rings in both kits appear to be correct. Jim Shea - are you out there?

it looks like 63 to 82 should use the same kit

MelWff: I agree. Both kits that I ordered were spec'd 63-82. Hence, my suspicion that I've got an incorrect pump in my car. My question is: can anyone tell me what I have?

I understand the vagueness of casting numbers. Threw it into my writeup for what it was worth. Sound like kaamacat had the same problem I've got. Still would like to ID my pump.

Maybe in the life of the car it was replaced with one from the Zone or similar supplier

In 1975 the attachment of the drive pulley changed from a keyway with a nut to a press-fit design. The driveshaft for the press-fit pulley was larger in diameter. What you have is a fit-all seal kit with two different sized lip seals for the two different sized driveshafts.

Jim: Can you tell me the shaft seal sizes (OD & ID) for the keyed pulley pump and the press fit pump?
