Depends on what you're looking for?
Definitely impressive looking if that's one of your requirements.
Tri power always looks good even if it's not the most efficient set-up.
I'll take EFI over a carburetor any day.
Do not know yet. Hoping it is a large base setup. They are open Tuesday. I might sell my entire setup if this is a bolt on. Just got it running really good.
There are intakes made for the small block that fit the holley carbs. The big block actually used holley carbs very similar to the chrysler 3x2 carbs.
I would think the flow potential would be pretty much wasted on the average street small block, and FEW drag racers would go the multiple throttle body route as its primarily for appearence.
My 3x2 EFI was fabricated by Bruce at F&B. I know of two cars with the setup. One was a magazine car, and the other is mine. It was not cheap but workmanship is first class. Bruce was also great with the followup. He and I even worked together on fabrication of a new air cleaner base for the setup.
The manifold is based on an Edelbrock Dual Quad that Bruce welded up and remachined for the 3x2 throttle bodies. He also welded up and remachined the ports for my heads. The throttle bodies have a progressive linkage for the two end ones. With my stock 75 hood, I run a 3/4" taller than stock filter and still have ~1/2" of hood clearance. With an L-88 hood, Bruce could have used the Edelbrock Air Gap Dual Quad as a basis.
With my 496, ~245 @.050 hyd roller and ported heads (Dr. J Airwolf), I am putting down 413 rwhp. Tuner said I was restricted above ~5500 rpm by the sidepipes and STS baffles. Car drives great.
Base price $6,695 plus fuel lines, pump, air cleaners. Includes computer, wiring harness, all setup and tuning. I can't swing that. It is a small base setup so my nitrous plates would not fit.

Dammit your giving me ideas! Have any pics of the manifold being welded up?
No pics of the welding, just some of the port work. Basically, the whole top was machined off, welded up, and remained for the new throttle bodies. You can see how the whole top is smooth on the first pic.
Who's stepper motor for the idle control are you using?
GM IAC. I can look up actual parts later. All my paperwork is at home.
And thanks for the complement. It is nothing compared to your V12 swap.
EDIT:
IAC is AC Delco 217-435 which crosses to a BWD 31023.
TPS is a Standard 2-1937 which crosses to a BWD EC3048P.
All other sensors are FAST.
My setup with everything including FAST XFI 2.0, all harnesses, sensors, upgraded injectors, and dual sync distributor but no fuel system was just over $5400. The intake was $2650 with throttle bodies, linkage, TPS, IAC, and custom air cleaner base.

If you get a chance could you post some port work pics? I'm very interested in what your doing! Thanks!
Here's a really neat way for old school looks and fuel injection-
Individual throttle bodies that look like Weber Carbs- great to mimic the grand Sport fuel injection look-
original Grand Sport-
And put 4 of these on it- Only a little over 2 grand for a set of four (8 individual throttle bodies). They are called "Heritage Bodies DCOE"- too bad these weren't available when I did mine- I'd been all over them. Made by Jenvey- who makes some really good stuff (located in the UK).
Top comes off- and the injectors are inside- so it's easy to hide the wiring from the bottom!!!!

Wow, those are awesome, thanks for showing me! I currently have a DCOE Weber on my MG, but I was planning to swap to an SU when I put on the supercharger setup I've built for it. I might have to remake the manifold to run that instead!

Jesus......
For $6700, you could run a Marcella sheetmetal intake, Holley Dominator FI with a 102MM TB, and switch to a Speedtech direct nitrous system and probably gain 50 hp on motor and 150hp+ on spray over your current nitrous setup.
I'd seriously rethink your setup..lol
Tri-power setups have always sucked for power, no matter how trick the carbs or TBs are, the intake manifolds are the problem.
