300R4 transmission - does that exist?
I am looking for a 200R4 (200-4R) and ran across a posting for a 300R4. I wrote out of curiosity and he said someone told him that's what it was (he thought too that it was a 200R4) and that it was out of a mid 80's Cadillac. My googling was not successful. Anyone heard of a 300??
Thanks.
Thanks.

Actually, yes. But the 300-4R was only installed in the 1983 Corvette. And it is so rare that nobody has ever seen one.....

I have a 200-4R from an 83 Cadillac fleetwood with a 4.1 aluminum V8. Has AA for the code on the id tag. I ran it for several years, good shift points. I now have one in there from a Monte SS has a CZF on the tag. The most desirable one is the BRF from a Grand national, doesn't shift into OD till 45 mph. Next is the CZF from the Monte and then the AA from the Caddy, there are a bunch of other models also, most low performance models with low WOT shift points.
