This car has a 350 chevy engine in it. The casting numbers I can find on the block on driver side rear are 3970010. On the front on pass side has numbers 14B512252 AND under it has K 01 23 CMR. The heads have 333882 stamped on them . The intake manifold has 14007378 stamped on it . It has a t350 transmission . What year and car did this come out of and hp?

Generic 350 block

VIN derivative of the car it was originally installed in. 14 indicates a 1974 Chevrolet. B is the plant code for Baltimore.

St Catherines, Ontario, Canada (K) assembled on January 23. CMR is 145hp Chevelle 2V with AT.

In addition to what Mike posted, the heads are likely original to the engine.

The 333882 heads were used on 350's from 70-80. They're typical 70's smog heads, with a 76 cc combustion chamber, and 1.94 intake valves. The 882 heads were used on 73-77 Corvette 350's, as well as many other Chevrolets.

The 14007378 intake manifold is from a 79 Corvette, L-82.

V8 blocks for old Chev II had special mods, like for the clutch linkage and the oil pan is different to clear steering linkage.
