The one thing that you'll need to get the best price is receipts and photos. My C1 came with photo books, receipts, parts lists...everything to document "the story". I gladly paid top dollar, got everything I paid for and it was worth it.

I look at a lot of cars, most have been sitting for years and have no documentation. The latest was a new/used car dealership selling a nice looking car for Hagerty 1 price, all sorts of claims about rebuilt this and restored that - not a single bit of documentation. See ya.

Keep a folder of every nut, bolt and item you purchase and lots of photographs on a thumb drive.
When I sold my Factory Five 33 Hot Rod the purchaser spent 30 minutes looking over the car, 2 hours going through my photos and receipts, then paid my asking price with no haggling.
