Taylor street series full metal jacket ignition wires hei
Can anyone answer if these Taylor HEI Ignition wires are a performance and upgrade from a stock HEI ignition wire? Found them on the Summit Racing site and the part # 91004. I have a 68 stock 427/390 with a GM HEI distributor . I love the way braided spark plugs look but dont just want them for appearance. I want them for performance too.

the braided wires do nothing for performance, they can hide a bad plug wire,
because they can arc to the braid.
I would not chose braided if top performance is your goal.
I would much rather be able to see a plug wire arcing.
