He is a good guy , and the ZL1 is fast no doubt about it as is the ZR1 , but just not quite as fast as my 1980

The newer ones, with LS super charged motors.

Most older ones are defenseless unless its been worked over a lot

Yeah you'll spank a 5th gen ZL1 (12'-15' models)... The 6 gen ZL1 is going to give you fits.... I just saw a brand new one with paper plates run 11.20@125 last friday night and he had no clue of what he was doing with it. They are 10.90 cars in good air and a good driver, on stock tires.

I think ill give him fits , I have the trans break now , the fab 9 , 4 link and 4.11 meeting the ground with M/t Street radials 275/60/15 .

Now I can launch the car .. No more taking off at idle on all season radials

That is super fast for any 80 C3...congrats!.

I have seen bone stock C6Z06 on street tires, not drag street tires, run 11.2 @ 129 mph in the qtr.... so be careful who you mess with.....
