Those are nice !! Apart from idle arm where is was there fitment issues?

From looking at this pic which would most likely fit? There top left is ARH , below them the Melrose which hang low im told and next to them 3 ebay ones.

Anymore pics of your exhaust and looking at the shapes of the others which would most likely fit?

Ok so do you think the ones in middle with the backgtpund would work since the primaries angle away from the firewall ? They also seem not to be super close to the ground also lile the others that look a tad longer.

left side ,

right side,

left side from a different angle ,

the bracket in the foreground is the gear selector ,

arh $1200 usd plus postage $?
ebay ones 150 plus 80 postage

i have seen hsv lhd style shorty 4 to 1s in aus for $188aud but then there is a greater cost of adapting to my current exhaust which connected to long headers on my 305. Getting long headers should help my cam and less work re adapting my dual exhausts.

no cats. I know people have used 98-2005 c5 shorties. 99-02 fbody long header i read somewhere but they look too long height wise. I'll have to take a risk with these headers unless someone from the usa has used a ebay set with ls1 b4..

oh and thanks for the pics bazza. What year is yours ? Rhd i assume.

are people using coil pack relocation where are they mounting them
anyone done any engine work on the c3 ls1 ?

Based on my current 305 long headers the drivers side at least is very similar to the 97-04 corvette long heads.. i think i will try these

The DNA 98-02 camaro look very similar to the ARH headers but they have these EGR valves or what ever they are and also the pipe i circled may have issues with heater box ??

77 with the rhd conversion already done.
with my engine I had to move one coil up a few inches to clear the brake booster , but I don't think that counts .

I think those headers will work . Just remember I don't have the original heater box unit sticking out anymore , so what you saw was my firewall on both sides .

Maybe I misread this. Is the whole 485 or only the gauges. The indicator lights do not look centered.

$485.00 was the price for the gauges and the wiring. The box they are in is a stock 79 gauge housing I modified so it would hold the new gauges and still have all the stock lights. The indicator lights are just a piece of plastic that can be moved around to center, I did that when I installed it in the car. I have also painted the washers black so now they and the bolts disappear.

Angle of the collector on those looks just like the Kooks on the LS6 on an engine stand in my shop. They were on a C5, I'm hoping to have them tweaked to work on my swap, I can't see how they would clear a transmission or bellhousing.

thanks for the reply. So all c5 long headers lile kooks and these will need to be cut and re welded ? I looked up c5 4l60e trans pics and they have tgis bubble at the front which is a different shape to the regular 4l60e.

can you confirm the 4l60 wont fit at all ? I dont have one to test yet
