Default Opinions please in Regards to Lower Control Arms.

Going to replace ball joints and bushings. Necessary to replace the shafts if they look good?

If they look good I'd just repaint and call it good. Examine the control arms real good. When I did my front susp. I found a hairline crack in one of my lower control arms. Not uncommon.

Get a torch and burn the old bushings out. It also helps clean all the old grease off too for priming and painting. It stinks a little but hey you get to play with fire and that's always fun!

Other than just boxing in the ends, make sure you weld the sway bar mounts fully on those arms too!
