Cooling issues on new crate motor.
Good afternoon all! I am needing some help with the cooling system on my car. I dropped a new crate motor in my 81. Chevy 350. Radiator is full of coolant and so is the reservoir. Radiator not leaking. When the car gets up to about 210F, coolant starts to come up through the temp sensor near the the thermostat housing. I removed the teflon tape and its still giving me the same issue. There no other places where the coolant is coming out of. I'm assuming the water pump is working. Any ideas?

Why are you threading the sensor into a brass fitting that is threaded into the manifold? You should be able to just thread the sensor directly into the intake manifold right there. I am betting the leak is from the lower brass fitting not sealing.

Anytime I have had to use an adapter like that I have run the sensor down pretty far in the adapter. Also using the tape can prevent the sensor from reading correctly or at all.
