Default Hook up Question

On my 78 l48, where do I connect my tach/dwell meter? I know the dwell is not needed but would like to check my rpm's. Guess that shows how old school I am, no exposed coil to connect to.

Take a look at the top of your distributor. At the end where the terminal connections go, one is marked batt and the other "tach". Connect your meter to the tach connection.
