Re: Part 2 - Engine wont turn over - Solved!! (jyounane)
I am leaning towards the hydrolock bending the piston theory as to what happened. The gas diluting the oil may have been an after effect of the gas in the cylinder? I will check the carb and see if I see anything up with it.
Thank you all for the heads up on stuff to check, you probably saved me from doing this again in a couple of months.

I'm sure the shop will do it, but just in case....I would have the block and both heads magnafluxed to check for cracks....with special attention to the water jackets/passages. If it's not coolant....it's gotta be gas. Check the carb....have it rebuilt.....check the fuel pump. I don't know anyone personally, but I've heard of guys parking at odd angles...on hills....etc. The angle allows gas to fill a cylinder.
Here's food for thought. You DON'T need a lot of fluid to bend a rod. Lets say your heads are 65CC heads.....65 cubic centimeters. That's the volume of the combustion chamber with the piston at TDC. A tablespoon is roughly 15cc. So...under the right conditions... with a piston close to TDC on the compression stroke......4 to 5 tablespoons of fluid will cause a rod to bend. Chuck
