Default oil

How much would the oil have to be overfill to make it start smoking . Reason i asked is i was a little low so i added some and if i jumped on it i got some smoke out of the passenger side . It seems to have stopped . I pulled the plugs on that side and they looked fine other then a ring of oil above the threads ( they seemed to be a little loose when i took them out )

Loose can end up badly. Check the rest if you havent. They can shot out with force.

Is your dip stick reading incorrectly? You can change your oil, add the 5 quarts, run it for a few minutes to fill the filter then let it sit to get all the oil from the heads back in the pan. Then mark you dipstick
