I have to say I backed off sector lash adjuster screw a 1/4 at a time twice on a ride yesterday and I still may try another 1/4 turn looser as I am really really really happy with the steering and the ability to return to center smoothly. I didn't think it could be this nice. (I may pull it and put the torque back on it just to see where it fell.)

I would like to pick up a new worm ball nut rack & sector shaft so I have it as this one is at the end of its life.

Where can I get new parts?

ps in the end this was a really easy job, I'm sorry I paid $150.00 the first time around.

Rick

Not only that, they are the ones who probably trashed the gears. Quite common.
