Default heater/ac light

I have a question about the panel that controls
ac and the heat, is there a light that comes on with the
dash lights. I have 78 L-48 and i just spent about a hour looking
for the bulb but could not find one. Anyone ever replaced this bulb?

On my 82 it is on the top of the center cluster by the vents. There is a pin hole and the bulb has a "point" on it. The light shines down onto the heater/ac control panel. It does comwe on with the dash/guage lights

Yep just as 82dukman describes, it's special bulb so as to focus the light at that distance it's an #L558. If you can't find it locally, most vette part vendors have it, it's $2.
