Reconditioned 165cc Dart Iron Eagles made 430hp in this cylinder head shootout, so they also have some power potential.

The e-bay heads posted by mako use a standard sbc intake manifold, check the pictures.

I checked the article that he linked to where he claimed those heads were used on an engine build. That engine build used a Vortec style intake manifold.

Maybe the pictures are inaccurate or there are different versions of the heads that use different intake manifolds.

All you have to do to check is look at the e-bay link and the pics, which you think are a mistake and then look at the listed specs, which you might not believe either. I have no dog in this fight, just pointing out the obvious.

The eBay pictures and description say that it uses an older style intake. Mako said that those heads were used in the build by Hot Rod magazine, which used a Vortec intake. Somewhere there's an inaccuracy.

I didn't say I think the eBay pictures are a mistake, just that that is one possibility of where the inaccuracy might be. Maybe Hot Rod magazine listed the wrong intake in their article. I don't know, as I don't have any experience with those heads. But, in researching them given the info from Mako, I noticed Hot Rod magazine listed a Vortec intake and wanted to make sure the OP knew to make sure a divorced choke intake will work with those heads or whatever heads he buys. That's all.

Dart Iron Eagle 165 flows 210 @ .500 lift and 138 exhaust according to summit.

Good rule of thumb is double the intake CFM and that is the Maximum HP capability of the head on an optimized build. Both head probably peak flow about .500 lift
