Default What oil for my TH2004R anf T5WC

I need to buy oil for my TH2004R, what oil must I buy?
Is it DEXRON II or III?

I can get Castrol, Valvoline, Mobil and Sunoco.

Also I would like to replace the oil in my T5WC transmission, what oil type is needed?

Thx.
John

My builder recommended this for the 200. I can't help with the other.

Mercon I think it's called.

My 1984 Hurst Olds has the TH2004R transmission. The Factory Service Manual calls out "Dexron II or equivalent".
Redline and Valvoline have ATF that are supposed to be backward compatible to Dexron II (GM ceased licensing the Dexron II name).
Some interesting info on ATF fluids here:

Redline and Valvoline info:

I have no experience on the T5.
