Anyone know anything about 14101128 '86-'87 aluminum heads?
I looked at an engine for sale last week and I'm trying to find out if anyone knows anything about these heads that are on the motor: Chevrolet #14101128 aluminum with center bolt/conventional bolt valve covers holes. I've looked them up and they are from an '86-'87 Chevy, but I don't know if they are Camaro, Firebird or Corvette heads. They are on a '69-'72 350 block with 1.6 roller rockers and a Holley Street Dominator intake.

Only aluminum heads that I know of from 86-87 were the L98 aluminum heads on the Corvettes.
58 CC and I think they are a 160 - 165 CC intake runner size.
Great for raising compression but their small intake runner size will limit you to about 5500 - 5750 RPM power range, but you should have some really good torque.
Good head if you plan on putting them on a low compression motor as a replacement for a high CC smog head.
EDIT: I found a listing for them:
14101128 350, Corvette, 86-87, alm., angle plug, 58cc
- just about what I thought.

Thanks for your response. This friend of my brother in law is selling the motor that he bought from a mechanic he works with, who in turn had bought it from someone else and ran it for awhile. No one can tell me specifics about the cam but it has a turbo 350 w/ a 3200 converter and everyone says the combo ran great. It has Holley street dominator intake, forged pistons, cast crank, 2 bolt mains, 750 carb, trans, shifter headers, extra dumble hump casting heads, and an okay-looking chrome alternator thrown in. Nothing to get too excited over, but for about $2500 I figured I might put it in my car and have a little fun with it.
