350 trans help
I have a 350 turbo trans and I bought a 3600 stall but I was wondering if installing a shift kit would spin my (12 inch wide) tires too much. Give me your thoughts

The shift kit will firm up your shifts but won't affect tire spin. Assuming you have the motor and torque to utilize a 3600 stall, that's what will cause your tire spin at launch. You have 12" wide tires and a 3600 stall but no work on the transmission or manual valve body, etc? What sort of car?

It's not a corvette but it is a 1950 ford pickup that I placed on a s10 frame and placed a chevy350 inside it. The motor as been bored 60 over, a new comp cam has been installed, dart iron eagle heads (have been rebuilt), roller rockers, electric fan and water pump, torker2 intake, 3 in collector headers, new msd streetfire distributed, 700 edelbrock carb, and a few other items to the frame like a ford 9in and 4 link system. I don't know how much work the trans has done on it but the previous owner is known to work on them.

IF the trans is not making enough line pressure to lock the internal clutches, you could hang any convertor you want on the front and it won't make a difference. Building a trans is a lot like building an engine in that all the parts must work together. Clearances need to be checked too.
Without knowing for sure what the PO did, I think I'd get a Trans-Go or a Gil Younger "Mr. Transmission" shift kit and install either one of those using the instructions for severe duty/police/taxi. Provided that when you drop the pan it's not full of metal or clutches.
