My '71 Convertible and with all the weight saving mods I've done (aluminum heads and intake, headers, composite spring etc.) with the convertible top out of the car and an empty tank and without my fat-*** in the seat it weighs 2993 on the garbage dump scale. I was happy to see it get below 3000.

Well done! What is the stock weight on a 71 convertible? Under 3000 pounds is a pretty dang solid!
