c3 327 to c5/c6 engine swap
how much effort is required to remove a 327 and 4 speed manual from a 68 c3 and install a more modern c5/c6 engine and 6 speed manual trans Is is a clean swap or are you cutting and welding frames

Just google "c3 corvette LS swap" and you'll find all the info you need

What kind of budget are you looking at, what expectations or goals do you have from the swap?
Good with electronics, can you wrench yourself? Its the little details and nickel/dime stuff that can drive you crazy
If you got to pay someone it can get super pricy real fast;if someone says its easy and cheap they either have exceptional abilities or its a hackjob.

sure hes got his reasons but with good parts, EFI one can achieve the same thing with a Gen 1 without all the swap hassle
Efficient heads, roller cams (the holley sniper looks good)narrow the gap between the two.
Yrs ago it took tons of porting on a set of camel humps and a huge flat tappet to barely crack 400chp. now it can be done with a set of off the shelf heads and a cam thats daily driveable.

OP needs to lay it out for what he wants/expects or if he has a great deal going etc... With the sbc heads and cams/valvetrain available now I do t think it's a cost vs performance deal anymore. Unless doing a full swap to efi I don't see the big benefit of the swap especially considering downtime dependent on how proficient you are. Searching is your friend...
