Just got my 1982 Silver Green #40 with Silver Green #403 interior. Found out through the forum that officially 723 Silver Green cars were manufactured. However, no numbers were recorded on the exterior/interior color combo. In the Forum under colors, I could not see one either under green color or silver color listing. Therefore this new thread. Be nice for any of us who have these colors as exterior only or the combo to find out more. Looking forward to finding some.

I like the exterior color, same vein but mine has more green to it....see pix below....

the interior looks like that driver seat could be lethal though....snore.....

Here's a good website for Corvette production statistics. Actually four colors and one two-tone combination had less production than silver green.

While there are records for individual RPOs (regular production options) and colors/upholstery type there are no records for ANY combinations. In other words there are no records of how many 1982 silver green painted cars had a silver green leather interior or a power driver seat.

See this VIN registry. While far from listing all it's the best I've found. A quick search showed all but one Silver Green cars listed has a Silver Green interior. The one that didn't was listed as Silver Grey and it wouldn't surprise me if that was a mistake.

My '79 Corvette Dark Green w/Dark Green cloth is also a relatively rare combination that routinely gets comments about the color from "car guys" who typically first ask about the engine

According to the experts here who know FAR more than I there is no accurate source for that information.

Even on "new" cars (since the 1990s?) where the VIN will indicate every option and production difference (down to the exact spring levels chosen) I do not believe there is any automated way to determine how many vehicles share any combination of RPOs. While the best VIN decoders (for modern cars) will give a "rarity" statistic such is based on COMPLETELY IDENTICAL vehicles to include things like those spring rates that are computer selected to find nearly identical matches. As a result it is not particularly uncommon to find "unique" vehicles and even common variations can seem almost rare.
