Gents/Ladies: I have my dash out and have pulled the front speakers. I am pretty sure they are not original. I have a 79 L48.
Do you know what I could use to test these speakers. Think hooking them up to my home system (components are about same age as car) may be too much power or different ohms??????
Want to make sure both work b-4 reinstalling.

You could even get an old wired headset for a phone/tablet. Cut the ear pieces off and wire the speakers in place of them. Plug into your phone and see what happens.
