Fingers crossed!

I don't understand. My control arm is about 1 1/2" (38.10 mm?) from the fan shroud.

Ok. Hopefully, it'll be a non-issue.

I got everything put back together. I have NO shims in place. I have NOT driven it yet, so these readings may change but overall, I very happy with the results.

I now should have without shims 0* to a little positive camber, which I can now dial in the amount of negative camber I want.
Caster was 5* and 4.5* POSITIVE prior to machining so, no issues there.
Great info!
Thanks. I will tackle my comparisons this week but my recovery from heart surgery is slowing me down.
Which is a shame as we are having great weather.

Thanks again for the info.

SWEET!

How much does that piece of equipment run?
I have several vette projects and wondering if worth the investment?
Better to have that then trust the kid at the local shop.
Plus it comes in handy when fabricating.
Thanks

Never mind. A quick Google and I found the gauge. Only $108.00 on Amazon. not bad. Some great and some poor reviews. Could be operator.

i had to stop, its 98* in the shade and 90+ humidity
its the bad part of arkansas, all week was in the low 80s and low humidity, and on weekends it'll ramp up.... its like some evil demon playing with the thermostat

I bought mine before owning the 'vette… and its the only way to go now, rather than wondering if your alignment is correct, arguing with the manager so you can be back there to tell the tech "NO I don't want factory spec, I want THESE specs" and he's looking at you like you've lost your marbles..... FACTORY spec for your car sir is only 2.25*+ and you want 7?!?!? SIR THATS LEMMING TALK!!!!

three uses paid for itself

I have the large fiberglass one... and it's going to be VERY tight in front of the forward threads on the bushing

It has a magnetic adapter:
https://www.amazon.com/Joes-Racing-28210-Magnetic-Adapter/dp/B009EVLVDQ/ref=sr_1_17?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1535235163&sr=1-17&keywords=28210 https://www.amazon.com/Joes-Racing-28210-Magnetic-Adapter/dp/B009EVLVDQ/ref=sr_1_17?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1535235163&sr=1-17&keywords=28210
Just checking camber. Checking caster requires turning wheels and zeroing gauge.

Naramlee do the lower control control arms also come with del-a-lum bushings?
Can you post the link to the part where you bought them?

I went on the Jeg's site and put the upper and lower control arms in my (cart). I did not purchase at this time.. A couple of days later I got a email that they would take $10 off the price. A couple of days latter they sent send me another notice that they would increase the offer to $20. I had already called them up and purchased them over the phone. Maybe you can save the money I missed. Good Luck
