There was a couple forum members who were running the 17" billet aluminum alloy wheels on the " upgraded C3 wheels and tires" thread. They posted photos, the manufacturer and sizes they installed in their posts. They looked awesome.

I got the idea from other members here. I really like them. Be careful of ebay copies. Obviously put them on after new tires although the business that put on a new tire after I had a blow out didnt destroy them

REV only lists sizes for the 107 with a silver painted center and polished lip. They do not list any of the polished center wheels. And you can find all kinds of them for sale on Ebay so they're still making them.
And yes, I would agree that the intent is to look like the original Kelsey Hayes rally wheels with the polished lip replacing the trim ring and the same center cap. The slots are bigger to fill that space better. So, it makes sense to be only selling the painted centers since that more closely duplicates the rally wheels. I do like them, way better than the US Mag wheels linked.

I had a set like this in 16" from Stockton wheel. I was a bit disappointed. They were very heavy. Moreover, the lip around the outside bears no resemblance to the 15" wheel with trim rings, as the OE trim ring would cover that lip. Just enough off that, as a purist, you might actually be bothered.
I still have 15" wheels on my car at some time I will undoubtedly upgrade to 18". I have nitto drag radials on the back,they handle better even on wet roads than those stupid cooper cobra tires which in my experience are the worst tire I've ever known. Light throttle from a traffic light would just spin the tires and on wet roads at low speed I've had the car swap ends. I don't know how the b.f Goodrich radial t/a could be nearly as bad as the cooper cobras.

I like my "stupid" tires. I guess I am a better driver as I autocross on them and have never swapped ends.

Old old school......99 bucks each for the rims 13 years ago......Have help up pretty good.....Some staining, but not much......
Would be interesting to see how this car performs with a more modern radial......Car rides good except for the damm window rattle sometimes.....Even swapped out the four felt anti window rattle pieces...Rather have roll up Windows on a C-3,guarantee the window rattle is less...
I was merely stating my experience with the cooper cobra tires. It appears your car has less power than my car perhaps that's why they seem suitable to you. I didn't expect the nitto drag radials to be as good in the rain as they have been for me.I think alot of manufacturers warnings are simply to cover themselves.I may subconsciously be driving more sedate when I do hit wet roads.
but I stand by my experience with cooper cobras, I will never have another set on anything I own.
I'm merely stating my opinion and there is no need for name calling.
The is a factor not in evidence that may explain why you may have better luck with the cobras. I live in florida, the asphalt here uses different aggregate
t and the layer of asphalt flows down from the surface more quickly which would explain the difference in results, and why a soft compound tire would grip better even in wet weather.

I didn't follow the link to see that it was aluminum. Didn't see that in the image you posted and assumed it was chromed steel. Mine were were chromed steel and quite heavy. And. .... I missed the trim ring.
