Verte needs a short pump. Might be why it has flex instead of clutch fan. Also the back of the shroud looks cut shorter and has edge that is blacker than the rest of the shroud.

Your best bet is to remove the electric fan unit, sensor & wiring. To do that, take a black Sharpie felt pen and trace the hood hinge marking the underside of the hood itself. (the hinges will stay with the body). Using a short broom handle for support, jam it between the hood and firewall. Now remove hood support latch, hood light wire. Get a helper to hold the hood as you remove the two hinge bottom bolts, remove the upper bolts last. Now you can get at the pusher fan brackets and remove.
