IMO, youre in big trouble. The front of the top and the header needs to be fitted and stapled BEFORE you attach the rear of the front panel and put in the wire on trim piece. According to Al Knochs video anyway.

My bad, for the life of me I thought we stapled the header first and tensioned it by pulling back to the wire on. Looking through my old photos confirmed you are 100% correct. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes I did them. Maybe before I should have,the lower edge kept moving

For what it is worth...if you are happy...then all is good.
If you want my feedback before you complete it ....just ask....becasue it goes along with what I previously asked about your vertical area at the back of the door glass. Simply fix if you care to do it or not.

I did take that area apart and stretch it farther,it’s looks pretty good now.
