Question about brake line clips on a 69
Started to put the new brake lines on the chassis, and found the mounting holes in the brake line clips I ordered were smaller than my originals and the bolt doesn’t fit through. I ordered a kit for a 68 for the reason it had fewer pieces than the 69 since I don’t need the fuel line clips. So tell me the bad news that 68 clips have smaller mounting holes.

Hi Bill,
I believe the clip bolts changed to 5/16" diameter for the 69 model year.

Alan

68 and 69 have the same 5/16 self tapping bolts, except for a different
bolt head type, and on 68s very front cross member, the bolt size is a 1/4"
with a 3/8 head, 3 of them.
