Default 1975 under-body seat mount plate

I am getting ready to put the interior back in my 1975 driver and a couple of the rear seat mount bolts were 'after market', basically a 3/8" bolt with a large washer and nut under the car as the original bracket somehow was missing.

I see that Willcox and others have the underbody plate for 68-74, but cannot find what a 75 should have. Any guidance is appreciated. Also any guidance on what type of rivets are used would be appreciated as well.

https://willcoxcorvette.com/corvette...required-68-74

Thanks,

Scott

The floor is fiberglass, but the reinforcements under the floor are different than earlier cars (I am familiar with the underside of my '69) here are a couple photos of the inside rear on the passengers side of the car, which is still in good shape. From what I can see it is more extensive in size than just a plate held in with a couple rivets.

The pass side has the cat converter heat shield incorporated in the seat mount bolts. The driver side rear outer is part of the seat belt reinforcement and the driver side inner rear is just a small plate riveted to the floor, mine is on the lift and can take more pics if you need.

Great that your kid is involved! As you can see, mine has pop rivets, but originally they were solid aluminum.

Sandy, there's a good thread on that very subject in the C1 & C2 Forum right now.
