Does anyone have a ballpark for how much it would cost for a shop to install one of these would be? It's probably out of my league installation wise, I can fix all the vacuum tubes and electrical things, but this is probably too much.
I'm trying to decide whether to install this or buy a new engine with EFI. My current engine is a non-numbers matching base 350, so this could be a big upgrade to it...but at the same time, it might be worth it just to swap the whole thing depending on what the price difference would be.

The serpentine system is that of GM. It came with the engine and the Compressor it is a Sanden. It also came with my Vintage Air set up. The compressor here is the one that came with engine too but was eventually removed to make room for the Sanden.

I have The same set up. And I just ordered the vintage air kit, but I didnt Have them include the compressor because I wanted To use the original bracket. Does the Sanden compressor fit into the bracketing or did you have to use the supplied brackets by vintage?

Here's a better picture of how the Brackets look like with the Sanden compressor

my neighbor was a Vintage air dealer and he ordered the Sanden compressor mount to adapt to the serpentine bracket. it looks like a half moon , 2 pieces and they fit like a glove. and no the sanden compressor did not fit in the original bracket

Yep, that's what I'm looking for. I want it to be dependable just like our other cars. Not that it's undependable now, but it's difficult for people like my wife to drive it since it doesn't act like her car. The choke and stuff make it harder for her. And when I only drive it once a week at most, the EFI would help that a lot I think.
